MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />Alameda County Fairgrounds <br />Cafeteria <br />Pleasanton Avenue <br />Wednesday, January 27, 1982 <br />8:00 P.M. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m. by Chairperson Joyce Getty. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: Gregg Doherty, Bill Jamieson, Larry Lindsey, <br />DeWitt Wilson and Joyce Getty, Chairperson <br />Commissioners Absent: None <br />Staff Members Present: Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Robert L. Warnick, <br />Director of Public Works and Utilities; <br />Brian W. Swift, Assistant City Attorney; <br />and Shirley McDougall, Recording Secretary <br />Council Members Present: None <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />There were no minutes submitted for approval. <br />MEETING OPEN FOR MEMBERS OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE COMMISSION <br />No one addressed the Commission. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Harris reporte t at Item 6a, UP-81-32, Meadow Plaza Associates' <br />application for a conditional use permit to allow the construction <br />of an approximately 15,000 sq. ft. office building on 1 acre of <br />an approximately 7.8 acre site located at the southeast intersection <br />of Santa Rita Road and West Las Positas Boulevard has been withdrawn <br />by the applicant inasmuch as they will submit a Planned Unit Develop- <br />ment application for the entire site in the future. Mr. Harris further <br />indicated that the application of Castlewood Properties, Inc., et al <br />(case PUD-81-36) for phased planned unit development plan approval <br />for a proposed mixed density residential project on approximately <br />58 acres located at the northeast corner of Oakland and Mohr Avenues <br />should be continued so that the project can again be reviewed by <br />staff and developer. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY THE COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />Chairperson Getty reported that it has been brought to her attention <br />on numerous .occasions that there is a need for a crosswalk in front <br />of the Townhouse restaurant on Main Street. She indicated that <br />Bernal Avenue intersection is far enough north of the restaurant that <br />the matter should be checked. Mr. Warnick stated he would present <br />the matter to the Traffic Committee at their next meeting. <br /> <br />
