Mr. Kierstead stated that Prudential Insurance, alone has enough acres to force them in the assessment district. He referred to an assessment at Crow Canyon for widening of the streets and that the estimated costs was missed by 70g. Fred Houston, 4461 Sandalwood, Pleasanton, urged the Planning Com- mission not to impose the mitigated conditions mentioned as it will drive up the cost of the project and be distributed back to the citizens. The public hearing was closed. A motion was made by Commissioner Jamieson, seconded by Commissioner Lindsey, that the mitigated negative declaration be adopted for this project because conditions of project approval would reduce any potential significant adverse environmental effects to an insigni- ficant level. ROLL CALL VOTE Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey, Wilson and Chairperson Getty Noes: None Absent: None Abstain: None Resolution No. 2144 was then entered and adopted recommending approval of the mitigated negative declaration as motioned. A motion was made by Commissioner Doherty, seconded by Commissioner Jamieson that case PUD-82-2 be recommended for approval subject to the conditions shown in the staff report to the Commission dated 3/10/82 with the following changes: 33. That suitable trees shall be planted to fill in the vacant areas between the Eucalyptus trees on the eastern property line; that trees shall be planted along the southern property line of the subject pro- perty and that a final landscape plan reflecting these additions shall be submitted to the Planning staff for approval prior to issuance of building permits. 35. That where required by the Fire Department, the buildings shall be equipped with fire sprinklers and alarm systems approved by the Fire Department.
