MINUTES PLANNING COMMISSION City Council Chambers 200 Bernal Avenue Pleasanton, California April 14, 1982 8:15 P.M. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 8:15 p.m. by Chairperson Joyce Getty. ROLL CALL Commissioners Present: Gregg Doherty, Bill Jamieson, Larry Lindsey, DeWitt Wilson and Joyce Getty, Chairperson Staff Members Present: Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development; Robert L. Warnick, Director of Public Works and Utilities; Brian W. Swift, Acting City Attorney; James R. Walker; City Manager; Emily E. Wagner, Director of Finance; Richard Glenn, Assistant Planner; Larry Lew, Assistant Planner; Shirley McDougall, Recording Secretary Council Members Present: It was noted that Mayor Ken Mercer and Council Member Karin Mohr were present in the audience. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. APPROVAL OF MINUTES T e minutes o the March 10, 1982 meeting were approved as submitted. The minutes of the March 31, 1982 meeting were approved subject to changing page 15, that Commissioner Jamieson (not Lindsey) recom- mended the homeowners association take care of maintenance relating to the Parish proposal. MEETING OPEN FOR MEMBERS OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE COMMISSION No one addressed the Commission. REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA Mr. Harris stated he had no changes to the Agenda. Chairperson Getty announced that Items 7a and 8a would be heard prior to the public hearing for the Prudential EIR. MATTERS INITIATED BY THE COMMISSION MEMBERS Chairperson Getty requested the Palnning Commission initiate a change to the Ordinance Code rezoning the 200 block of Main Street from "O" (Office) District to the C-C (Central Commercial) District. She stated that the change would bring the 200 block of Main Street into conformance with the rest of Main Street. She said this is something she had overlooked in all of her studies.
