MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Bernal Avenue <br />Pleasanton, California <br />April 14, 1982 <br />8:15 P.M. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:15 p.m. by Chairperson Joyce Getty. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: Gregg Doherty, Bill Jamieson, Larry Lindsey, <br />DeWitt Wilson and Joyce Getty, Chairperson <br />Staff Members Present: Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Robert L. Warnick, <br />Director of Public Works and Utilities; <br />Brian W. Swift, Acting City Attorney; <br />James R. Walker; City Manager; Emily E. <br />Wagner, Director of Finance; Richard Glenn, <br />Assistant Planner; Larry Lew, Assistant <br />Planner; Shirley McDougall, Recording <br />Secretary <br />Council Members Present: It was noted that Mayor Ken Mercer and <br />Council Member Karin Mohr were present in <br />the audience. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />T e minutes o the March 10, 1982 meeting were approved as submitted. <br />The minutes of the March 31, 1982 meeting were approved subject to <br />changing page 15, that Commissioner Jamieson (not Lindsey) recom- <br />mended the homeowners association take care of maintenance relating <br />to the Parish proposal. <br />MEETING OPEN FOR MEMBERS OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE COMMISSION <br />No one addressed the Commission. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Harris stated he had no changes to the Agenda. Chairperson Getty <br />announced that Items 7a and 8a would be heard prior to the public <br />hearing for the Prudential EIR. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY THE COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />Chairperson Getty requested the Palnning Commission initiate a <br />change to the Ordinance Code rezoning the 200 block of Main Street <br />from "O" (Office) District to the C-C (Central Commercial) District. <br />She stated that the change would bring the 200 block of Main Street <br />into conformance with the rest of Main Street. She said this is <br />something she had overlooked in all of her studies. <br /> <br />
