MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Bernal Avenue <br />Wednesday, May 19, 1982 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:36 p.m. by Chairperson Joyce Getty. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: Bill Jamieson, Larry Lindsey, DeWitt Wilson <br />and Joyce Getty, Chairperson <br />Commissioners Absent: Gregg Doherty (out of town on business) <br />Staff Members Present: Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Robert L. Warnick, <br />Director of Public Works and Utilities; <br />Brian W. Swift, Acting City Attorney and <br />Shirley McDougall, Recording Secretary. <br />Other staff members were present in the <br />audience. <br />Council Members Present: Mayor Bob Butler, Council Members Ken Mercer <br />and Karin Mohr were in the audience. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES <br />The Minutes of the Planning Commission meetings of 4/14/82 and 4/28/82 <br />were approved as submitted. <br />MEETING OPEN FOR MEMBERS OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE COMMISSION <br />No one addressed the Commission. <br />OLD BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />There was no old business. <br />NEW BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />GP-82-3, City of Pleasanton <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the Land Use and Circu- <br />lation Element, the Growth Management Element, the General Plan Supplement <br />and any other elements of the General Plan where appropriate and necessary <br />to: <br />1. Delete the policy referring to a prohibition of direct vehicular <br />access to Hopyard Road from adjacent properties between Interstate <br />Freeway 580 and West Las Positas Boulevard; <br />1 <br />
