MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Bernal Avenue <br />Thursday, June 24, 1982 <br />7:30 p.m. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Larry Lindsey at <br />7:35 p.m. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: Gregg Doherty, Joyce Getty, Bill Jamieson, <br />DeWitt Wilson and Chairperson Larry Lindsey <br />Staff Members Present: Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Robert L. Warnick, <br />Director of Public Works and Utilities; <br />Brian W. Swift, Acting City Attorney and <br />Shirley McDougall, Recording Secretary <br />Council Members Present: There were none. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Minutes of the 5/19 and 5/26/82 Planning Commission meetings <br />were approved as submitted. <br />MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />No one addressed the Commission. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Harris stated that Item 5c regarding the proposed Hillside <br />Development Ordinance should be continued because interested <br />parties had insufficient time to review the proposed changes. <br />He suggested a work session prior to taking action on the matter. <br />After discussion the Planning Commission continued case RZ-82-5, <br />application of City of Pleasanton to amend the Hillside Development <br />Ordinance to August 4, 1982, 7:30 p.m., City Council Chambers for <br />public hearing and work session to be continued from that date to <br />August 11, 1982 for public hearing and recommendation of the <br />Planning Commission. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY THE COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />Commissioner Getty: Asked the staff to look into a stop sign at <br />Pico and Palomino Streets. Mr. Warnick stated that he would have <br />the Traffic Committee look into this matter. <br />Commissioner Getty: Asked about the City staff progress with regard <br />to coming up with a report or proposed ordinance regulating video <br />game rooms. Mr. Harris indicated to date there hasn't been sufficient <br />staff time available but that he would look into the matter. <br />_ .. _ _ _.___... __..,.T.. <br />
