Commissioner Wilson inquired about the possibility of acquiring a <br />truck capable of reaching the top of the building. <br />Chief Hill stated he will be making a recommendation to Council <br />for purchase of a truck with this capability. <br />Commissioner Doherty asked Chief Hill if he was basically comfortable <br />with this project and Chief Hill stated he felt any fire problems <br />have been mitigated. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />Commissioner Jamieson asked Mr. Harris if they could anticipate other <br />developers also coming in with plans for buildings higher than <br />65 ft. if this is granted to Hacienda for this particular building. <br />Mr. Harris stated there would be proposed five-story buildings in <br />future developments, but he did not know what type of buildings they <br />would be proposing. <br />Commissioner Jamieson expressed his opposition to five-story buildings <br />and stated he could only support three stories. He also stated that, <br />if he were to support five-story buildings, he would support this <br />building at the height recommended by the architect. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner <br />Doherty, that PUD-81-30-4D be approved subject to the nine conditions <br />of the staff report. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Getty and Chairperson Lindsey <br />Noes: Commissioners Jamieson and Wilson <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />Resolution No. 2203 was then entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of case PUD-81-30-4D as motioned. <br />NEW BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />There were none. <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW <br />There were none. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Chairperson Lindsey adjourned the Planning Commission meeting at <br />8:55 p.m. to a workshop to be conducted to review the proposed <br />Hillside Planned Development Ordinance and stated a public hearing <br />would be held on this matter at the Planning Commission meeting of <br />August 11, 1982. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />~~ -3- <br />Robert J.
