<br />MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Bernal Avenue <br />Wednesday, August 4, 1982 <br />8:00 P.M. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Larry Lindsey at <br />8:04 p.m. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: Gregg Doherty, Joyce Getty, Bill Jamieson, <br />DeWitt Wilson and Chairperson Larry Lindsey <br />Staff Members Present: Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Richard Glenn, <br />Assistant Planner; Robert L. Warnick, <br />Director of Public Works and Utilities; <br />Peter D. MacDonald, City Attorney; and <br />Glenda Seiwald, Acting Recording Secretary <br />Fire Chief Hill and Police Chief Eastman <br />were in the audience. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />There were no minutes to be reviewed. <br />MEETING OPEN FOR MEMBERS OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE COMMISSION <br />No one addressed the Commission. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />There were no revisions or omissions to the agenda. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />PUD-81-30-4 D, Prudential Insurance Company <br />Application of Prudential Insurance Company for design approval for <br />a five-story, approximately 300,000 sq. ft. office building on an <br />approximately 16.4 acre site, located in the area bounded by Gibraltar <br />Drive, Stoneridge Drive, and Hacienda Drive. <br />Mr. Harris referred to the staff report and stated this item was <br />for a proposed mid-rise building for Hacienda Business Park and was <br />continued from the July 28, 1982 meeting. Because there were a <br />number of questions at the July 28th meeting regarding fire safety, <br />Mr. Harris explained the Fire Chief was in attendance to answer any <br />questions in regard to the building and that Prudential also wished <br />to make a presentation on this subject. <br />The publzc hearing was opened. <br /> <br />
