MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Bernal Avenue <br />Tuesday, September 21, 1982 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />T e meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Chairperson Larry Lindsey. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: Gregg Doherty, Bill Jamieson, DeWitt Wilson <br />and Larry Lindsey, Chairperson <br />Commissioner Absent: Joyce Getty (Illness) <br />Staff Members Present: Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Robert L. Warnick, <br />Director of Public Works and Utilities; <br />Brian W. Swift, Assistant City Attorney; and <br />Shirley McDougall, Recording Secretary <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Minutes of the August 30, and September 8, 1982 Planning Commission <br />meetings were approved as submitted. <br />MEETING OPEN TO ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE PLANNING <br />COMMISB TON <br />No one addressed the Commission. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Harris stated that Item 7c should be continued to the 13th of <br />October to allow the counsel for the Diocese of Oakland and Assistant <br />City Attorney to confer on this matter; and that Item 8a should be <br />continued to October 27, 1982 at the request of the property owner. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY THE COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />Chairperson Lindsey announced that the Planning Commission meetings for <br />October would be October 13, 1982 and October 27, 1982 as regularly <br />scheduled. <br />NEVJ BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />RZ-82-16, City of Pleasanton <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone an approximately <br />78 acre site located at the northern terminus of Martin Avenue and <br />just south and across the Arroyo Mocho Canal from the Pleasanton <br />Meadows area to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Low Density Resi- <br />dential District or to any other district consistent with the General <br />Plan. A negative declaration of environmental impacts was also <br />considered. <br />
