MINUTES PLANNING COMMISSION Pleasanton, California City Council Chambers 200 Bernal Avenue Tuesday, September 21, 1982 7:30 P.M. CALL TO ORDER T e meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Chairperson Larry Lindsey. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. ROLL CALL Commissioners Present: Gregg Doherty, Bill Jamieson, DeWitt Wilson and Larry Lindsey, Chairperson Commissioner Absent: Joyce Getty (Illness) Staff Members Present: Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development; Robert L. Warnick, Director of Public Works and Utilities; Brian W. Swift, Assistant City Attorney; and Shirley McDougall, Recording Secretary APPROVAL OF MINUTES The Minutes of the August 30, and September 8, 1982 Planning Commission meetings were approved as submitted. MEETING OPEN TO ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE PLANNING COMMISB TON No one addressed the Commission. REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA Mr. Harris stated that Item 7c should be continued to the 13th of October to allow the counsel for the Diocese of Oakland and Assistant City Attorney to confer on this matter; and that Item 8a should be continued to October 27, 1982 at the request of the property owner. MATTERS INITIATED BY THE COMMISSION MEMBERS Chairperson Lindsey announced that the Planning Commission meetings for October would be October 13, 1982 and October 27, 1982 as regularly scheduled. NEVJ BUSINESS - Public Hearings RZ-82-16, City of Pleasanton Application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone an approximately 78 acre site located at the northern terminus of Martin Avenue and just south and across the Arroyo Mocho Canal from the Pleasanton Meadows area to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Low Density Resi- dential District or to any other district consistent with the General Plan. A negative declaration of environmental impacts was also considered.
