v~ <br />MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Bernal Avenue <br />December 8. 198?. <br />8:00 p.m. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The Planning Commission meeting was called to order at 8:18 p.m. by <br />Chairperson Lindsey. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: Joyce Getty, William Jamieson, De[~aitt Wilson, <br />and Larry Lindsey, Chairperson <br />Commissioners Absent: Commissioner Doherty <br />Staff Members Present: Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Robert L. Warnick, <br />Director of Public Works and Utilities; <br />Brian W. Swift, Assistant City Attorney; and <br />Glenda Seiwald, Acting Recording Secretary <br />Council Members Present: Frank Brandes <br />APPROVAL OF MIrIUTES <br />The Minutes of the meeting of November 10, 1982 were approved as submitted. <br />MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE PLANNING <br />COMMISSION <br />No one addressed the Commission. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />There were none. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />Commissioner Getty stated that there was a recent PCB spill in her <br />neighborhood, and she inquired as to what the City was doing about <br />having the transformers checked. <br />Mr. Warnick responded that it was his understanding that there are just <br />a small percentage of transformers which have PCB, and that he did not <br />know of any program to replace them. He stated, however, that the City <br />Manager had written a letter to PG&E but had not yet received a reply. <br />
