4v~~8A~T°~ CITY of PLE~-S~1N~'C~N
~~~.
'~~° Planning Commission
•w so
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DGtB : January 14 , 19 7 6
Ti1f!@ : 8:22 P.M.
PIGCe; Pleasanton Justice Court
A'P'P'EAL' AP-75-14.
Approved, Res.
1387.
Some further discussion followed
regarding the parking problems resi-
dents in the area are experiencing
and the fact that if the entire
street is posted for no parking, the
residents on Vervais Avenue would
also be inconvenienced..
Another motion was then entered and
adopted allowing a gate to be in-
stalled in the fence on Vervais Ave-
nue to allow pedestrian access only.
Present at the hearing were Dan Pons
and George Garibaldi residents on
Vervais Avenue, who expressed con-
cern regarding any arrangements
which might add to the parking
problems they are now experiencing.
In addition, they were under the
impression that the type of fencing.
erected was also going to alleviate
some noise to the residents. Both
Messrs. Pons and Garibaldi did not
object to a gate being installed in
the fence if it was locked up after
maintenance work is done.
Michael E. Roberts - appeal to a
denial of the Zoning Administrator
to conduct a janitorial business
from his place of residence at
8087 Arroyo Drive, #1.
Mr. Harris explained that this parti~
cular case was being reviewed by the
Planning Commission because the home
owners association of Laguna Vista
Estates specifically prohibits such
enterprises. Therefore, staff wishe~
to have Commission's policy on such
matters. It was noted that C C & R'.
are not binding over City codes.
Resolutic
Seconded:
Ayes
Noes:
Absent:
Abstain:
X
-5-
