Commissione,' <br />Garrigan mirrored the Chairman's <br />feelings on this matter. <br />',Mr. Harris drew the Commission's at- <br />jtention to a map prepared by staff <br />(showing both the flood hazard areas <br />Wand those areas within the geologic <br />hazard zones. <br />The Chairman advised the audience <br />that all specific development plans <br />are reviewed by the Design Review <br />Board. <br />Commissioner Garrigan requested that <br />the minutes of this hearing be trans- <br />mitted to the Council at the time <br />they review the General Plan in order <br />that they may have a more comprehen- <br />sive idea of the Commission's thought <br />and especially the concerns of the <br />people in the audience who expressed <br />themselves at the Commission meeting. <br />A resolution recommending approval of <br />the Plan was then read by Mr. Levine. <br />Commissioner Butler referred to Sec- <br />tion 2 dealing with the environmental <br />element and its effects on the plan <br />and specific mitigation measures, tha <br />it is important to point out that <br />although the Planning Commission dis- <br />cussion has not dwelled on this in <br />great length, that the Commission has <br />reviewed this question and agrees wit <br />the findings noted in said section. <br />Accordingly, Resolution No. 1392, re <br />commending approval of the General <br />Plan, was unanimously adopted. <br />-11- <br /> <br />
