4y~~8~~~°y CITY of PLEASANTCJN
~~~.
~~° Planning Cor~nrriission
`. NY f9
MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING.
DGte : March 10, 1976
Time: 8:0o P.M.
PIGCe: Pleasanton Justice Court
Chairman Wood's recollection of the
situation was that at the time this
PUD was considered, it was a new
concept consequently the Commission
had little experience with this type
of development. They did, however,
feel the idea was workable.
Commissioner Shepherd suggested a
compromise solution, such as a more
attractive fence,-and good buffering
of the yard from the homes.
One matter of real concern to the
Commissioners was the possibility
of dumping of sewage into the storm
drains by people parking their motor
homes in the lot, etc.
Commissioner Carrigan felt that no
real decision could be made at this
time, because, since RZ-76-2 was
turned down the developer had the
option of appeal. Both homeowners
groups would need to be considered.
The other Commissioners concurred
with this position.
Since the Commissioners felt it was
important that a reasonable compro-
mise solution be established for
all concerned, they decided not to
act on this matter at this time.
Instead, they decided .that an ad hoc
committee should be established to
thrash out all the details and pre-
sent them to the Commission, if
necessary at a special meeting, with
some recommendations for an amicable
solution. This committee would be
comprised of one member only from
City staff, Planning Commission
(Walt Wood offered to serve), Stone-
son Company, single family homeowner;
-12-
