CITY of PLEASANTON <br />Planning Commission <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DOtB ; April 14, 1976 <br />Time : 8:53 P.M. <br />PIGCe; Pleasanton Council Chambers <br />'RE'ZONING REQUEST <br />RZ-75- , Approved, <br />Res. 1403 (EIR) <br />Res. 1404 (Rezoning <br />Willow West, Inc. - application to <br />rezone approximately 354 acres loca- <br />ted between Hopyard Road and the <br />S.P.R.R. right-of-way opposite the <br />intersection of Stoneridge Drive and <br />Hopyard Road (Assessor's Parcel Nos. <br />941-700-1-11 and 946-3215-1-12). The <br />present zoning configuration of In- <br />dustrial Park, General Industrial, <br />Office, Service Commercial, Freeway <br />Commercial and predominantly Agri- <br />culture, would be changed to pre- <br />Idominantly General Industrial as <br />dwell as Light Industrial, Office, <br />(Commercial Freeway and Planned Unit <br />Deve lopment . <br />Secretary Harris gave a brief ex- <br />planation of the staff report. He <br />advised the Commission of the two <br />actions they would need to take that <br />evening, if they wished to approve <br />this request - 1) make the finding <br />that the environmental impact report <br />prepared for this case meets CEQA's <br />requirements and 2) act on the <br />zoning request. <br />Mr. Harris emphasized that sewer <br />capacity is not now available to <br />serve this property.. <br />Staff recommendation is for approval <br />of the rezoning as spelled out in thf <br />last paragraph of the staff report. <br />The Public Hearing was opened. <br />Present to speak for the application <br />was Mr. Dick Karn, Engineer with <br />Bissell & Karn.
