This resolution <br />died for lack of a second. <br />'A resolution recommending approval <br />subject to the necessary findings <br />and conditions, adding the two per- <br />taining to prohibition of access fr <br />Sharab Court, and landscaping was <br />entered and adopted, with Chairman <br />Wood casting the only dissenting <br />vote. <br />Oak Tree Center - application for a <br />conditional use permit to allow the <br />construction and use of a parking to <br />on a site located west of the rear o <br />residences on Longspur Way, south of <br />the Pleasanton Canal and north of <br />Valley Avenue. Zoning for the site <br />is P (Public and Institutional) <br />District. <br />Deputy City Attorney Levine told the <br />Commission that the applicant and <br />his attorney had contacted him re- <br />questing modification of Condition <br />No. 5, which was done and read to <br />the Commissioners for their infor- <br />mation. <br />The Public Hearing was opened. <br />Both Chris Beratlis and his attorney <br />Bill Hirst were present. The reason <br />for their reservation concerning <br />Condition No. 5 is to permit them a <br />certain amount of leeway to work wit <br />the City to make the necessary ar- <br />rangements. <br />Commissioner Carrigan asked them if <br />there is a possibility a hardware <br />store could locate there. Mr. <br />Beratlis did not deny this possi- <br />bility.
