Zoning for the <br />approximately 6.5 acre site located <br />between Mirador Dirve and Sharab <br />Court is P (Public and Institutional) <br />and R-1 (Single Family Residential) <br />District. <br />Secretary Harris. described the staff <br />report, which recommends approval of <br />this application. <br />The Public Hearing was opened. <br />Mr. Ed Bynum, chairman of the build- <br />ing committee spoke, indicating that <br />they concur with the conditionSfor <br />approval of the conditional use per- <br />mit. <br />',Several people in the audience spoke <br />',for or against this application. <br />'Bonnie Kirchbaum, 303 Neal Street, <br />,spoke against this application. She <br />jfeared that once the church vacates <br />its Neal Street address, the pro- <br />perty could be developed in the mul- <br />tiple designation, which could change <br />the value of the area around it. <br />Ms. Kirchbaum also referenced disa- <br />greement among certain of the church <br />members regarding the moving of this <br />church to the new site. <br />Next Mrs. Dagmar Fulton spoke. She <br />stated that she is a director of the <br />Amador-Livermore Historical Society. <br />She stated that they were asked by <br />Council to develop a list of all <br />historical sites in the City, one of <br />which is the church.
