4y$~BA~~°~ CITY of PL~~ASAI~ToIU <br />,~ .~,. <br />'~~~° Planning Comr~nission <br />..o <br />MINUTES ~OF REGULAR MEETING. <br />DGte : June 9, 1976 <br />Time : s:2o P.M. <br />PIGCe; Pleasanton Council Chambers <br />After discussion, Commissioner Butle <br />seconded by Commissioner Shepherd an <br />carried, entered a resolution that <br />the Planning Commission make the <br />required findings of conformity. <br />Approve d <br />Review of parking requirements for <br />the RM (Multiple Residential) Dis- <br />trict. <br />Secretary Harris reviewed the staff <br />report requested by the City Council. <br />It is now past the 90 day period for <br />review, so a determination should be <br />made tonight. Staff recommends that <br />the status quo be kept for at least <br />the next six months. <br />Butler clarified that on page 2 of <br />the report it should read "three <br />spaces for each two subsequent units <br />rather than "two for three." <br />Commissioner Shepherd asked if an <br />ordinance could be enacted restric- <br />ting parking in front of private <br />residences, as in San Francisco.. <br />Deputy City Attorney indicated he <br />would look into the San Francisco <br />program if the Commission desired. <br />A motion was entered by Commissioner <br />Shepherd, seconded and carried, to <br />accept the recommendations of the <br />staff regarding this matter and tran <br />mit this recommendation to the City <br />Council. <br />otion <br />econded: <br />yes: <br />oes: <br />bsent: <br />bstain: <br />IX <br />-11- <br />
