4~~ y co~rY <br />~~""~° ®f PLE~SANTO~V <br />`~~~° Planning c®mmission <br />.o <br />U <br />~ ~~~~ <br />MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING. ~ 0`0~ <br />Data September 8, 1976 <br />Time : 8:45 P.M. <br />PIGCe; Pleasanton Council Chambers <br />MATTERS FOR <br />INFORMATION OF <br />THE COMMISSION <br />MATTERS INITIATED <br />BY COMMISSION <br />MEMBERS __ <br />Mr. Harris explained that this matter <br />was presented to the Commission be- <br />cause of initial objections raised <br />by some of the neighbors, but that <br />most of the problems have been <br />resolved. <br />The Commissioners felt that if the <br />conditions of approval listed in the <br />staff report were adhered to, no <br />disturbance would occur to the <br />neighbors. <br />Accordingly, a resolution approving <br />this appeal subject to the conditions <br />in the staff report, was entered and <br />unanimously adopted. <br />A tentative date for the joint Com- <br />mission/Council meeting was esta- <br />blished for Wednesday, September 29, <br />at 8:00 P.M. <br />Secretary Harris indicated he would <br />welcome input from the Commissioners <br />regarding items for discussion. <br />Commissioner Wood pointed out that <br />there is a missing tree for the <br />planter box in front of Pleasanton <br />Foods on Main Street. He requested <br />that this matter be cleared up. <br />The Commissioners brought up the <br />question of the development of the <br />Del Valle Parkway. <br />Deputy City Attorney Levine explained <br />that with the adoption of the Gen- <br />eral Plan, the City is required to <br />lower the holding capacity of the <br />planning area. This could entail <br />changes in zoning. <br />-12- <br />
