by the Planning Commission. r4r. Levine replied that the City Attorney will <br />be submitting a report on the case to the City Council and Planning Com- <br />mission for their information. Councilmember Brandes suggested that both <br />the Planning office and the City Attorney's office contact other juris- <br />dictions to ascertain from them what types of zoning would be affected from <br />a legal standpoint, and the effects generated from them on their respective <br />jurisdiction. <br />Secretary Harris commented that this may be an item for review by the Growth <br />Management Committee. <br />G. Chairman Butler raised the question of merging traffic problems at <br />First/Sunol and Main. Mr. Sooby stated that an analysis of this problem <br />was reviewed in depth after the first time this matter was brought up by <br />Commissioner Jamieson and they felt the situation was acceptable. The <br />Traffic Committee had looked at this matter and found the buttons which the <br />City had installed to aid in directing traffic acceptable. The Commissioners <br />continued to feel the conditions were less than safe, and that something <br />should be done to alleviate potential dangerous traffic situations at this <br />intersection. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />The regular meeting of the Planning Commission was adjourned at 11:00 P.M. <br />Robert arris, Secretary <br />-10- <br />
