It was decided that staff would waive all fees for refiling of this PUD <br />application, with the exception of advertising costs. <br />Chairman Butler commended the applicant for this cooperative attitude. <br />Commissioner Wood commended the interested neighbors for attending the <br />hearing and making their feelings known. <br />There was a five-minute recess. <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW <br />Review of Five Year Capital Improvement Program for the Fairgrounds <br />Secretary Harris stated that the first six projects listed have not been <br />changed priority-wise. <br />The only recommendation the Commission members had was that the amphi- <br />theater cover be moved up in priority and that their comments, a carryover <br />from last year's review, be given more emphasis. It was Commissioner <br />Jamieson's feeling that these projects should be reviewed in greater depth. <br />Secretary Harris indicated that he would convey these feelings to the City <br />Council at the time they review the matter. <br />Review of Pro ert Ac uisition at 7769 Desertwood Lane, (Fire Station #2) <br />to Find Conformity of the Property with the General Plan <br />Commissioner Doherty asked if this property was being viewed as a temporary <br />facility pending a more permanent home? If so, is it the City's intent to <br />put something more permanent on the site than is there now, specifically, <br />the single family residence? <br />Mr. Sooby replied that it would eventually be phased out with the con- <br />struction of a permanent facility. <br />Councilmember Brandes stated that there is the possibility of the City ~~ <br />purchasing the property, and although it is being considered "temporary <br />location at this time, the City is reviewing the situation in greater depth. <br />Sale of the property is $68,000, and the item was a budget matter. <br />Resolution No. 1539 was entered and adopted making the finding that the <br />property at 7769 Desertwood Lane (Fire Station #2) would be in conformity <br />with the General Plan. <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Resolution: Butler <br />Seconded: Doherty <br />Ayes: Doherty, Jamieson, Wood, Chairman Butler <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Shepherd <br />Abstain: None <br />Initiation of Ordinance Amendment Pertainin to Mobile Homes on School Sites <br />Secretary Harris indicated that a request had been received from the School <br />District requesting the City s cooperation in obtaining an ordinynpe aoses. <br />ment which would allow mobile homes on school sites, for securit urp <br />-8- <br />
