Commissioner Wood expressed appreciation for Councilmember Brandes' interest
in trying to resolve this situation. He stated the reason he conditioned
the approval to require the parking pad at 2297 Tanager was for access dir-
ectly on to Mohr Avenue, which is a wider street than Tanager and to cut
the distance and driving time in responding to calls.
Chairman Butler concurred with Commissioner Wood`s intentions, feeling that
the main "bone of contention" was the ambulance, and if it were not for the
vehicle, the application could probably be handled as a regular home occupa-
tion on an administrative level.
Commissioner Doherty suggested the property at the corner of Division and
Peters Avenue, now that the print shop had moved to Mission Plaza, as a
possible location for the service. Mr, Sooby stated that Mr. Lee, had
talked to Mr. Stanley, owner of the property.
MATTERS FOR INFORMATION OF COMMISSION MEMBERS
A.
