PUBLIC HEARINGS - NEW BUSINESS <br />Z-77-116, Vic Lund - application for design approval to construct an <br />addition to an existing building at 164 Main Street. Zoning for the <br />property is O (Office) District and C-O (Civic Overlay) District. <br />Staff recommendation is for approval. <br />The Public Hearing was opened. Mr. Vic Lund was present to answer all <br />questions. This is a modification of <br />the use permit granted to St. Clare's Episcopal Church on a portion of <br />the property. <br />Staff is recommending approval subject to 19 conditions in the staff re- <br />port. <br />Discussion centered on the 100-year flood level and what construction <br />methods would be required to circumvent that possibility. <br />Commissioner Jamieson ascertained that the homes would be approximately <br />80 feet from the site on the proposed lodge. <br />Commissioner Shepherd requested that some wording be inserted to safeguard <br />the residences from the facility, by means of buffering. <br />The Public Hearing was opened on the negative declaration. <br />Mr. Jack Fiorio, representing Alisal Lodge #321 was present.
