The staff report was presented. The Public Hearing was opened. No one spoke, and the Public Hearing was closed. Resolution No. 1593 was entered and adopted approving the application subject to the required findings and conditions in the staff report. The staff report was described by Secretary Harris. Resolution No. 1594 was entered and adopted making the required finding of conformity with the General Plan. Commissioner Wood indicated he had heard rumors that a disco wished to locate in the old post office. Secretary Harris replied that there has been nothing official on this. B. Commissioner Doherty stated that several boxcars, defaced with writing, have been sitting on the railroad tracks on the east side of Santa Rita Road. He indicated that staff should direct a letter to Southern Pacific Railroad Company to the highest level management to abate the problem..
