Roll Call Vote <br />Resolution: Shepherd <br />Seconded: Wood <br />Ayes: Doherty, Jamieson, Shepherd, Wood, Butler <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />RZ-77-23, Planning Commission - application for an amendment to Article 16 <br />of Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton which <br />would modify the off-street parking requirements for medical and dental <br />offices and other health facilities. <br />Staff asked that this item be continued to the April 12, 1978, meeting and <br />the Commission concurred. <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S INFORMATION <br />A. Chairman Butler offered regrets for Council Liaison Member Mercer who <br />could not be present as he had to attend another meeting for Mayor Philcox. <br />B. Secretary Harris asked to schedule a special meeting to review appli- <br />cation for ambulance service. <br />A meeting date of February 27, 1978, was established. <br />If possible, staff will also schedule the Site Selectors item. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />A. City Attorney Levine advised that annexation rules are being very <br />carefully scritinized by a group of City Attorneys and he would report <br />back to them on this matter. <br />B. Mr. Levine asked for clarification of what areas of review the City <br />should pursue in attempting to resolve the Site Selectors problem. Com- <br />missioner Wood stated that some areas for consideration would be direct <br />access of the development onto the Parkway. <br />C. Commissioner Doherty expressed some concern regarding the continuing <br />traffic problems between the Safeway and Valley Plaza Centers on Valley <br />Avenue. Commissioner Wood suggested trimming the shrubbery for better <br />visibility. <br />D. Discussion took place regarding re-establishment of two meetings a <br />month because of the length of the meetings. The Commissioners discussed <br />possibility of limiting the speakers' time, but concluded that they would <br />stay with the one meeting a month and wherever possible, allowing speakers <br />whatever time they required to express their viewpoint. <br />E.
