MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton Council Chambers <br />30 West Angela Street <br />February 8, 1978 <br />8:00 P.M. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The regular meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order at <br />10:00 P.M., by Chairman Butler. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: Doherty, Jamieson, Shepherd, Wood, Chairman Butler <br />Commissioners Absent: None <br />Staff Members Present: Robert Harris, Director of Planning and Community <br />Development; Harvey Levine, Deputy City Attorney; <br />Don Sooby, Director of Engineering Services; <br />Yvonne McFadden, Recording Secretary. <br />Councilmembers Present: Frank Brandes. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The minutes of the January 11, 1978 meeting were approved as submitted. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Secretary Harris requested an indefinite continuance for Item 5a, GP-77-4, <br />Rudd Gast, until staff hears what the property owner intends to do regarding <br />requirement for an EIR. <br />Item 6e, RZ-77-21, City Council (property at Arbor and Crellin), a continu- <br />ance until the next meeting was requested by both Roger Manning, President <br />of the Vintage Hills Homeowners Association and because the legal council <br />for the property owner was ill. It was decided to open the public hearing <br />and continue the application to the March 8, 1978, meeting. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />GP-77-4, Rudd Gast - application for an amendment to the General Plan which <br />would change the land use designation of an approximately 10-acre parcel of <br />land located on the south side of Vineyard Avenue roughly 200 feet west of <br />Pico Avenue, from "Open Space-Parks and Recreation" to "Medium Density <br />Residential." <br />This item was continued indefinitely until the applicant advises the City <br />how he wishes to proceed on his application. <br />RZ-77-19, City Council - application of the City Council for an amendment <br />to Section 2-7.08(a), Article 8, Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code <br />of the City of Pleasanton which would revise, comprehensively, the schedule <br />of permitted and conditional uses in all of the commercial zoned districts <br />of the City of Pleasanton. <br />______.~..__.. ___.~. __._... ._..~._..._..1.._....~ _ ._...__....._._....._ . ...___._ __..-._....._.._..._~. _._.__. .._ r.. _..__._ ..___..__... <br />
