Commissioner Shepherd commented that it was obvious to him that the residents <br />really wish to reduce the density in Mission Park. Under those circum- <br />stances, perhaps they should apply for a rezoning. <br />It was decided that staff would conduct a study on the RM-1500 property on <br />the south side of Junipero Street, the R-1-6500 parcel immediately to the <br />west of that property, and the RM-1500 parcel on the south side of Sonoma <br />Drive. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />Commissioner Jamieson brought up the problem of trucks parked on the frontage <br />dead-end street to the east of the Ramada Inn site on Hopyard Road. City <br />Attorney Levine explained that the City has been trying to work on a truck <br />parking area, but so far have been unsuccessful in their attempts. <br />The staff will check into this. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />The regular meeting of the Planning Commission was adjourned at 10:45 P.M. <br />Robert J. a ris, Secretary <br />-7- <br />
