MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW. <br />RZ-78-4, Planning Commission - review of ordinance amendment relating to <br />parking requirements for liquor stores. <br />Secretary Harris explained that at the City Council meeting on June 27, <br />1978, when they reviewed the ordinance amendment on this subject, Council <br />felt that they needed specific wording to define a "liquor store." Hence, <br />the suggested wording contained in the July 12, 1978, Planning staff report <br />was being offered in answer to that request. <br />The Commissioners concurred with the definition and adopted a motion recommend- <br />the wording in conjunction with the ordinance amendment. <br />Roll Call Vote <br />D4otion: Doherty <br />Seconded: Getty <br />Ayes: Doherty, Leppert, <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />Getty, Wilson, Jamieson <br />TENTATIVE SUBDIVISION MAPS. <br />Tentative Tract-Map #3996 - Northway Downs (D4orrison Homes) <br />The staff report was described by Secretary Harris. Recommendation is for <br />approval subject to the conditions in the staff report and accompanying <br />material. <br />Mr. Bob Miller, representative for P'Iorrison Homes, was presented and voiced <br />no objections to any of the conditions of approval. Secretary Harris advised the Commissioners that the Planning Secretary, <br />Yvonne r4cFadden, had tendered her resignation and would be leaving by the <br />third week in July. <br />B. City Attorney Levine explained that due to budget cuts necessitating <br />personnel cuts within his department, he would be unable to provide services <br />to the Planning Commission at the same level as before. For instance, <br />except when necessary, he would not be at the meetings any more. He would <br />be available by telephone. <br />-7- <br /> <br />
