Mr. Bill Hirst then addressed the Commissioners confirming that the property <br />owner, Joe Madden, still wishes to have his property annexed to the City of <br />Pleasanton, and that they plan to "wait and see" regarding relocation of <br />the railroad. <br />Mr. Earl Augusta, 3962 Stanley Boulevard, property owner in the vicinity, <br />asked if the decision would ultimately be verified by the City Council. <br />City Attorney Levine confirmed this understanding. <br />Resolution 1649 was entered and adopted making the finding that prezoning <br />the property filed under RZ-77-16, to the A (Agricultural) District, would <br />not have an adverse impact on the environment and that a Negative Declaration <br />would be filed. <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Reso ution: Doherty <br />Seconded: Geppert <br />Ayes: Doherty, Geppert, <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />Getty, Wilson, Jamieson <br />Resolution 1650 was entered and adopted recommending to the City Council <br />that property described under Case RZ-77-16, be prezoned to the City of <br />Pleasanton A (Agricultural) District. <br />Roll Call Vote <br />Resolution: Wilson <br />Seconded: Doherty <br />Ayes: Doherty, Geppert, <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />Getty, Wilson, Jamieson <br />UP-77-14, Department of Motor Vehicles <br />Review of an environmental impact report to construct and operate an office <br />on a 2.6 acre site near the intersection of Dorman Road and [nest Las Positas, <br />just westerly of the Bank of America facility. <br />Application for a conditional use permit to construct and operate an office <br />which would be located on a 2.6 acre site near the intersection of Dorman <br />Road and West Las Positas Blvd.; zoning for the property is P (Public and <br />Institutional) District. <br />Staff comments were presented on this application for both the environmental <br />impact report prepared for the case and the conditional use permit for <br />operation of this office. <br />The Public Hearing was ooened on the EIR review. <br />No one spoke, and the Public Hearing was closed. <br />-2- <br />
