It was concluded
that the requirement for trees on Vineyard Avenue could be worked out
between the developer and the City staff.
The Public Hearing was closed.
The Commissioners concurred with the staff recommendations and adopted
Resolutions 1672 and 1673 making the finding that the tentative map is in
conformance with the City's General Plan and approving the map subject to
the conditions in the staff report of August 9, 1978, noting it would not
have any significant adverse effects on the environment because the con-
ditions of approval would reduce those impacts to an insignificant level,
and modify Condition No. 15 to read that the developer consent on the
final map or by other method approved by the City Attorney that in-lieu
fees may be used for parks and recreation. Also, that Item 24 be modified
that street trees for Vineyard Avenue be Chinese Pistachio, and the
developer and City staff use their best efforts in implementing the re-
quirement for the portion of Tract 3327 bordering Vineyard Avenue.
Roll Call Vote
Resolution: Geppert
Seconded: Wilson
Ayes: Geppert, Wilson, Doherty
Noes: None
Absent: Getty, Jamieson
Abstain: None
MATTERS FOR INFORMATION OF THE COMMISSION
Secretary Harris announced a special Planning Commission meeting for
Wednesday, August 30, at 7:30 P.M.
Secretary Harris gave to the Commissioners the Schumacher modification of
PUD-69-5.
The matter of Commissioner Jamieson's illness was discussed, and the
members joined in sending him their wishes for a speedy recovery.
ADJOURNMENT
The regular meeting of the Planning Commission was adjourned at 12:07 A.M.
Robert Harris, Secretary
-9-
