The staff report was described by Secretary Harris recommending approval
of this conditional use permit.
The Public Hearing was opened.
Applicant, Lance Ruckteschler, was present and concurred with the staff
report.
The commission stated that the applicant would utilize a portion of the
property as an impound yard. He is not proposing to fence or screen the
area in any way. This is acceptable because there are no residences
at least within one half mile, and this is a temporary usage. The property
owner will be using this property for industrial purposes in the future and
the permit would be issued for one year.
The Public Hearing was closed.
Resolution No. 1683 was adopted approving this application subject to all
conditions of the staff report.
Roll Call Vote
Resolution: Doherty
Seconded: Geppert
Ayes: Geppert, Wilson and Acting Chairman Doherty
Noes: None
Absent: Getty and Chairman Jamieson
RZ-.77-12, Scenic Highways
Application of the Planning Commission to amend Chapter 2, Title II of
the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton by adding Article 34, Scenic
Highways Overlay District.
