MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Alameda County Fairgrounds <br />Pleasanton Avenue <br />January 10, 1979 <br />8:00 P.M. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The regular meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order <br />at 8:50 P.M. by Chairman Jamieson. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: <br />Commissioners Absent: <br />Staff Members Present: <br />Council Member Present: <br />Gregg Doherty, Ken Leppert, Joyce Getty, <br />DeWitt Wilson and Chairman Bill Jamieson <br />None <br />Robert Harris, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development and Shirley McDougall, <br />Recording Secretary <br />Frank Brandes <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The minutes of the December 13, 1978 regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission were approved. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />PUD-78-5, The Chamberlain Group <br />Application of the Chamberlain Group for development plan approval <br />for an 8.2-lot, single family subdivision on a 60 acre site located <br />at the eastern end of Arbor Drive in Vintage Hills. The site is <br />zoned PUD (Planned Unit Development) District. An Environmental <br />Impact Report (EIR) would also have to be considered. <br />Mr. Harris stated that the Chamberlain Group is redesigning the develop- <br />ment and the matter will have to be continued until the meeting of <br />February 14, 1979 to allow preparation time. Mr. Harris said that the <br />applicant has come in with a tentative plan with changes, but that final <br />plans are not ready. <br />PUD-78-1, L & H Land Company <br />Application of L & H Land Company for approval of a hillside planned <br />development consisting of a 10-lot, single-family residential s division <br />located on a 50 acre site northwesterly of the existing terminus o <br />Longview Drive. The site is zoned HPD (Hillside Planned Development) <br />District. An Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was also to have been <br />considered. <br />Mr. Harris explained the Final EIR is not complete and for this reason, <br />this project must be continued until February 14, 1979. <br />
