MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Alameda County Fairgrounds <br />Pleasanton Avenue <br />March 6, 1979 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The special meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order <br />at 8:00 P.M. by Chairman Jamieson. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: Joyce Getty, DeWitt Wilson and Chairman <br />Bill Jamieson <br />Commissioners Absent: Gregg Doherty and Ken Leppert <br />Staff Members Present: Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Harvey Levine, City <br />Attorney; Alan Campbell, Director of Public <br />Works and Utilities; Joe Hill, Fire Chief; <br />and Shirley McDougall, Recording Secretary <br />Council Member Present: Frank Brandes <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The minutes of February 20, 1979 were approved with a change in <br />"Revisions and Ommissions to the Agenda" -- Mr. Wilson suggested all <br />draft EIRs be sent to the Planning Commission...., and not Chairman <br />Jamieson. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />There were none. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY THE COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />There were none. <br />OLD BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />PUD-78-1, L & H Land Company <br />Application of L & H Land Company for approval of a hillside planned <br />development consisting of a 10-lot, single-family residential sub- <br />division located on a 50 acre site northwesterly of the existing <br />terminus of Longview Drive. The site is zoned HPD (Hillside Planned <br />Development) District. An Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was also <br />to have been considered. <br />Chairman Jamieson addressed the Commission and the attorney for the <br />applicant, Gil Maines, stating that two Commissioners were absent <br />suggesting this project be continued until March 14, 1979, 8:00 P.M. <br />Mr. Maines concurred with this suggestion. <br />NEW BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />There were none. <br />
