Dawn Perry, the applicant, addressed the staff report and stated she con-
curred with the report and conditions contained therein.
The public hearing was closed.
Commissioner Leppert stated that all of the findings can be made in
granting the use permit and made a motion to approve UP-79-5, subject to
the three conditions of the staff report of March 14, 1979. This motion
was seconded by Commissioner Joyce Getty.
Resolution No. 1718 was then entered and adopted approving UP-79-5.
Roll Call Vote
Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Geppert, Getty, Wilson and
Chairman Jamieson
Noes: None
Absent: None
Abstain: None
RZ-79-O1, City Council
Application to amend Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City
of Pleasanton by deleting Article 15.5 (H-O, Historical Landmark Overlay
District) in its entirety or amending it in any way in conformance with the
General Plan.
Mr. Harris explained the staff report and their recommendation.
Commissioner Getty expressed concern with regard to not having some regula-
tion and stated she would like to see all of the work done by the Historical
Overlay Committee and a paid consultant put to some use.
Commissioner Wilson concurred with the staff report that Article 15.5 be
deleted entirely.
The public hearing was then opened. Since no one addressed the Commission,
Chairman Jamieson closed the public hearing.
Because he felt this Article has no use, Commissioner Wilson moved to delete
the section in its entirety. His motion was seconded by Commissioner Doherty.
Resolution No. 1719 was then entered (recommending to City Council) that
Article 15.5 (H-O, Historical Landmark Overlay District) be eliminated in
its entirety.
Roll Call Vote
Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Geppert, Getty, Wilson and
Chairman Jamieson
Noes: None
Absent: None
Abstain: None
GP-79-3, McManus
Application of Thomas K.
