Planning Commission <br />May 9, 1979 <br />Page 10 <br />Mr. Harris explained the staff report and reason for this request. <br />Public hearing was opened. <br />Public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wilson, seconded by Commissioner Getty that <br />recommendation of adoption of RZ-79-9 be made to council. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Geppert, Getty, Jamieson, Wilson and Chairman Doherty <br />Noes: None <br />Resolution No. 174$ was then entered and adopted. <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSIONS REVIEW <br />None. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />None <br />TENTATIVE SUBDIVISION MAPS <br />None <br />REFERRALS FROM ALAMEDA COUNTY <br />None <br />REFERRALS FROM CITY COUNCIL <br />Mayor Brandes informed the Planning Commission that the City Council upheld their <br />decision concerning McManus rezoning. <br />Mayor Brandes stated that concerning R.A.P. he suggested to Council there be a <br />work session held sometime in June with the Planning Commission and developers <br />invited for input. <br />REFERRALS FROM PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br />None. <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSIONERS' INFORMATION <br />Commissioner Geppert stated that he will be unable to serve as liason to the Human <br />Services Commission any longer because of a conflict with his work. Mayor Brandes <br />explained the importance of the Planning Commissioner's attendance at this Commission. <br />Commissioner Getty stated that from time to time she could stand in for Mr. Geppert, <br />but could not be a full-time permanent participant. She suggested everyone take part <br />in three month increments.
