Planning Commission
October 10, 1979
Page 5
Commissioner Wilson made a motion that Tract 3148 be rezoned to R-1-8500 and that the balance
of the property (including Tract 3133) be rezoned to R-1-10,000. This motion was seconded
by Commissioner Jamieson.
ROLL CALL VOTE
Ayes Commissioners Getty, Jamieson, Wilson and Chairman Doherty
Noes None
Absent Commissioner Geppert
Resolution No. 1802 was then entered and adopted recommending approval of RZ-79-15 as stated
in the motion.
Chairman Doherty then presented a petition by residents of the area recommending the
rezoning of the property. The petition was then made part of the public record.
Chairman Doherty stated there would be a 5 minute recess, that PUD-79-7, the next item on
the agenda, would be heard followed by PUD-79-8 (shown as 6a) on the agenda because all
of these properties relate to RZ-79-15 as heard.
_PUD-79-7, Amador Valley Investors
Application for a 41-lot residential planned unit development proposed to be built on an
8.76 acre parcel located on the south side of Fairlands Drive adjacent to its intersection
with Brockton Drive. Zoning for the property is R-1-6500. A negative declaration of
environmental impacts will also be considered.
The public hearing was opened.
George Oakes, the property owner, was present and said that all of his comments were stated
earlier in the evening (during the hearing on RZ-79-15).
The public hearing was closed.
Commissioner Wilson then made a motion to deny PUD-79-7 as proposed. This action was taken
because RZ-79-15 was recommended for approval. This motion was seconded by Commissioner
Getty.
ROLL CALL VOTE
Ayes
Noes
Absent
Commissioners Getty, Jamieson, Wilson and Chairman Doherty
None
Commissioner Geppert
Resolution No. 1803 was then entered and adopted denying PUD-79-7. A negative declaration of environmental
impacts will also be considered.
The public hearing was opened.
George Oakes, the property owner spoke, stating he had no comments on this proposal and
that all of his comments were made during the hearing on RZ-79-15.
The public hearing was closed.
-5-
