Planning Commission <br />October 10, 1979 <br />Page 13 <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Jamieson, seconded by Commissioner Getty to recommend <br />approval of RZ-79-19 as petitioned. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes Commissioners Getty, Jamieson and Chairman Doherty <br />Noes None <br />Absent Commissioners Geppert and Wilson <br />Resolution No. 1813 was then entered and adopted recommending approval of RZ-79-19. <br />Z-79-142, Frank Ca ip lla <br />Application for site plan review for the remodeling of the old post office building located <br />at 157 Main Street. Zoning for the property is C-C (Central Commercial) District. <br />Mr. Harris explained the staff report and recommendation for approval. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Mr. Capilla, the applicant spoke, stating their request for approval of the site plan. <br />He stated he had no concern with the conditions as outlined in the staff report. <br />Walt Schaumburg explained the request of the City for a right-of-way dedication needed <br />on Main Street. He suggested the Commission consider adding condition ~~26 to read as <br />follows: "That the developer dedicate right-of-way widening as shown on the Bernal Avenue <br />realignment plan". <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioners Jamieson, seconded by Commissioner Getty that Z-79-142 <br />be recommended for approval subject to the conditions of the staff report of October 10, 1979 <br />plus the additional condition (~~26) as requested by staff. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes Commissioners Getty, Jamieson and Chairman Doherty <br />Noes None <br />Absent Commissioners Geppert and Wilson <br />Resolution No. 1814 was then entered and adopted recommending approval of Z-79-142. <br />Tentative Map Tract 4263, DeWitt Wilson <br />Application to subdivide an approximately 4.9 acre site located along the south side of <br />Junipero Street between Sunol Blvd. and Sonoma Drive into 32 separate parcels. Zoning for <br />the property is PUD-Residential District. <br />Mr, Harris explained the staff report and previous PUD approval which was granted. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Ted Fairfield, 1811 Santa Rita Road, spoke representing the applicant. He stated they <br />concurred with the staff report. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Jamieson, seconded by Commissioner Getty that Tentative <br />Map for Tract 4263 be approved subject to the conditions of the staff report of October 10, <br />1979 plus an additional condition enumerated as ~~14 which reads: "That this approval is <br />granted for 32 lots only". <br />-13- <br /> <br />
