Planning Commission <br />October 10, 1979 <br />Page 12 <br />~~8 Add to this condition: <br />"This work shall be deferred until deemed necessary by the <br />City Engineer and the developer notified in writing"; and <br />~~13 Change this condition to: <br />"That if found to be necessary, a wall to screen the pool <br />area from the freeway noise shall be constructed along the <br />northern perimeter of the pool area; the design, location and <br />timing of construction of the wall shall be determined by <br />the planning staff". <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes Commissioners Getty, Jamieson and Chairman Doherty <br />Noes None <br />Absent Commissioners Leppert and Wilson <br />Resolution No. 1811 was then entered and adopted recommending approval of PUD-79-10. <br />RZ-79-21, J. Jack Bras <br />Application to rezone an approximately 1.8 acre parcel located at the northeast corner <br />of Pleasanton-Sunol Road and Happy Valley Road from the A (Agricultural) District to the 0 <br />(Off ice) District. <br />Mr. Harris explained the staff report. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Chairman Doherty then read a letter by citizen Phyllis Couper, Alisal Improvement Club, <br />in opposition to this project. <br />J. Jack Bras, the applicant spoke stating he had no problems with the staff report and wanted <br />to be able to do the same thing with his land as granted to one of the neighbors, J. Caroline. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Jamieson, seconded by Commissioner Getty that RZ-79-21 <br />be recommended for approval. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes <br />Noes <br />Absent <br />Commissioners Getty, Jamieson and Chairman Doherty <br />None <br />Commissioners Leppert and Wilson <br />Resolution No. 1812 was then entered and adopted recommending approval of RZ-79-21. <br />RZ-79-19, City Council <br />Application to prezone an approximately one acre parcel located at 3963 Stanley Blvd. to <br />the R-1-20,000 District. <br />Mr. Harris explained the staff report. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />No one addressed the Commission. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />-12- <br />
