MINUTES PLANNING COMMISSION November 14, 1979 8:00 P.M. CALL TO ORDER T e meeting was called to order by Chairperson Gregg Doherty at 10:15 P.M. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. ROLL CALL Commissioners Present: Ken Geppert, Joyce Getty, Bill Jamieson, DeWitt Wilson and Gregg Doherty, Chairperson Staff Present: Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development; Walt Schaumburg, Associate Civil Engineer; and Shirley McDougall, Recording Secretary Council Members Present: None APPROVAL OF MINUTES T e minutes of October 10 and 11, 1979 were approved as submitted. MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEP~IBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE COMMISSION No one a ressed the Commission. REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE' AGENDA Mr. Harris stated that item 9 a , application of John Caroline would not be able to be heard because the EIR has not been completed but that the applicant is asking it be left on the agenda for public input. Further 9(a) should be continued to December 12, 1979 for the public hearing. The commission agreed to this request. MATTERS INITIATED BY THE COMMISSION MEMBERS RZ-79-23, Planning Commission Commissioner Geppert made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Getty that the approximately 3.2 acre site located on the north side of Black Avenue between Harvest Road and Crestline Road be rezoned from the RM-2500 (Multiple-Residential) District to the RM-4000 (Multiple- Residential) District. ROLL CALL VOTE Ayes: Commissioners Geppert, .Getty, Jamieson, Wilson and Chairperson Doherty Noes: None Resolution rdo. 1816 was then entered and adopted initiating the rezoning to be filed under RZ-79-23. Commissioner Wilson stated he would like to see high density resi- dential on three of the 14 sites looked at on the Planning Commission tour of November 3, 1979.
