Resolution No. 1841 was then entered and adopted approving Tentative Map <br />Tract 4239. <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW <br />There were none. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were none. <br />REFERRALS FROM ALAMEDA COUNTY <br />There were none. <br />REFERRALS FROM CITY COUNCIL <br />There were none. <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S INFORMATION <br />Mr. Harris reminded the Commission that they wished to initiate a zoning <br />code ordinance concerning parking requirements for veterinary establishments <br />within the City of Pleasanton. A motion was made by Commissioner Leppert, <br />seconded by Commissioner Getty that the Planning Commission initiate this <br />Ordinance Code change. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Geppert, Getty, Jamieson and Chairperson Doherty <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Commissioner Wilson <br />Resolution No. 1842 was then entered and adopted initiating a zoning code <br />change for the parking of veterinary establishments. <br />Mr. Harris stated that concerning the League of California Cities seminar, <br />the City has no money in the budget for this activity to send Planning <br />Commissioners to this event but that the City Manager has authorized $500 <br />for the attendance of two Commissioners. Mr. Harris stated this money <br />could be split among more Commissioners if the Commissioners wished to <br />pay for part of their expenses. He stated this could be worked out among <br />the Commission members. <br />Commissioner Geppert indicated he wants to attend this seminar and stated <br />he would be happy to drive other Commissioners down there. Chairperson <br />Doherty stated that driving would cause a loss of two days plus increase <br />the cost of lodging. <br />Commissioner Jamieson stated he does not want to attend this seminar. <br />Commissioner Getty stated she would like to attend this seminar as did <br />Chairperson Doherty. Mr. Harris said he would talk to the City Manager <br />about additional funds for the trip. <br />Discussion then ensued concerning the Land/Use Circulation Element Review <br />Committee as presented in the City Manager's letter of January 11, 1980. <br />-6- <br />
