Mr. Connelly addressed Ms. Taylor's concerns about lack of insurance for nuclear accidents and that his company has an abundance of insurance. Mr. Connelly stated the police caught a person going over the Interstate fence after he attempted to break into another business. He further stated that the dust and dirt being generated is from 73 Ray Street and the construction there and not 65 Ray Street. He stated that as far as the trees are concerned, they are sprouting anew and their business has no effect on them whatsoever. Mr. Perasso again spoke to the trees and took exception to Mr. Connelly's comments concerning them. Mr. Perasso further stated he wants to make sure the holding tank doesn't leak and go into the ground. Mr. Connelly stated the tank is above the ground on the floor inside of the building and there is no way any material seeps into the ground. The public hearing was closed. Commissioner Jamieson stated that based on the Board's last decision concerning Southwest Nuclear that he didn't feel he knew enough about the matter. He stated he would suggest this matter be continued so that the staff can get some performance reports from the State of California and find out just how well this operation has been conducted in the City of Pleasanton. Commissioner Lindsey concurred with Mr. Jamieson's opinion on this matter. UP-80-15, Earl and Barbara Adams Application of Earl and Barbara Adams for a conditional use permit to allow warehousing, contractors' operations and related services at 3687 Old Santa Rita Road. Zoning for the property is C-S (Commercial Services) District. Mr. Harris reviewed the staff report and recommendation of approval. The public hearing was opened.
