Item 7: A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey, seconded by Com- <br />missioner Doherty that the recommendation of the Land Use Committee <br />be adopted. <br />Motion: Commissioner Lindsey <br />Second: Commissioner Doherty <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Commissioner Jamieson <br />Abstain: Chairperson Wilson (financial interest) <br />Items 8, 9 and 10: A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by <br />Commissioner Lindsey that the recommendation of the Land Use Committee <br />be adopted. <br />Motion: Commissioner Getty <br />Second: Commissioner Lindsey <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Commissioner Jamieson <br />Getty, Lindsey and Chairperson Wilson <br />Items 11, 12 and 13: A motion was made by Commissioner Doherty, <br />seconded by Commissioner Getty that the recommendation of the Land <br />Use Committee be adopted. <br />Motion: Commissioner Doherty <br />Second: Commissioner Getty <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Getty, Lindsey and Chairperson Wilson <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Commissioner Jamieson <br />Item 14: Commissioner Getty explained the intent of the Land Use <br />Committee regarding this property and suggested perhaps this item <br />should include First Street from Abbie to Kottinger and not to <br />Vineyard Avenue. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner Lindsey <br />that the recommendation of the Land Use Committee be adopted but only <br />First Street, Abbie to Kottinger and not to Vineyard Avenue as pre- <br />viously proposed. <br />Motion: Commissioner Getty <br />Second: Commissioner Lindsey <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Commissioner Lindsey <br />Getty, Lindsey and Chairperson Wilson <br />Item 15: Commissioner Lindsey stated he does not agree with the <br />recommendation of the Land Use Committee and agrees with the staff <br />in that the property should stay High Density Residential. Commissioner <br />Getty stated their Committee wanted office in the area because of <br />the traffic caused by high density. Commissioner Lindsey argued that <br />traffic control might be needed but that high density would be fine <br />for the area. Chairperson Wilson concurred with the comments of <br />Commissioner Lindsey.
