south of Castlewood but in the area mentioned in the application it <br />has not been positively found. He said there are two reports on this <br />property, one which says the fault is as suggested by Earl Hart and <br />the other by Mike Green and they don't come within 500 ft. of each <br />other. <br />Commissioner Doherty asked how many borings were made and Mr. Hansen <br />said there were 18. <br />Art Dunkley stated that Judd Hull has specified 56 special conditions <br />for building and that lots 6 and 7 could be relocated. Mr. Dunkley <br />said that concerning open space, Longview has only 56~ open space. <br />He then read from the HPD Ordinance. <br />Commissioner Doherty said he still has a problem with density at this <br />site. <br />Commissioner Lindsey stated he agrees with staff in that the lower lot <br />should be kept as rural as possible but that perhaps the staff and <br />the applicant want to look at placing lots 6 and 7 in another location. <br />Commissioner Getty said she has no problems with the 22 lots inasmuch <br />as people know what they are buying when they purchase a lot. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />Commissioner Lindsey said he would suggest the elimination of two <br />lots on the lower portion and have staff reconsider the location <br />of lots 6 and 7 coming up with a net of 22 lots. <br />Commissioner Doherty said he could support that statement. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Lindsey that the mitigation measures <br />suggested in the project (PUD-80-12) would reduce the adverse signi- <br />ficant environmental effects to insignificant levels and that the <br />negative declaration be recommended for approval. This motion was <br />seconded by Commissioner Doherty. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Getty and Lindsey <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Commissioner Jamieson <br />Abstain: Chairperson Wilson <br />Resolution No. 1929 was then entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of a mitigated negative declaration for case PUD-80-12. <br />A motion was then made by Commissioner Doherty, seconded by Commissioner <br />Lindsey that PUD-80-12 be recommended for approval subject to the <br />conditions of the staff report and recommending that lots 6 and 7 be <br />relocated on the property in order to get the open space needed and <br />that one lot be removed on each side of the main road in the area of <br />-17- <br />
