MINUTES PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON Alameda County Fairgrounds - Cafeteria Wednesday, January 14, 1981 7:30 P.M. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairperson DeWitt Wilson. ROLL CALL Commissioners Present: Commissioners Absent: Council Members Present: Staff Members Present: Gregg Doherty, Joyce Getty, Bill Jamieson, Larry Lindsey, and Chairperson DeWitt Wilson None None Robert L. Warnick, Director of Public Works and Utilities; Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development; and Shirley McDougall, Recording Secretary Pledge of Allegiance The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. APPROVAL OF MINUTES The minutes of the 12/10/80 meeting were approved as submitted. MEETING OPEN FOR MEMBERS OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE COMMISSION No one addressed the Commission. REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA Mr. Harris stated that the property owner has requested Item 6a, RZ-80-15 be continued until 2/11/81. MATTERS INITIATED BY MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION Commissioner Getty asked about the BART study as previously requested by the General Plan Land Use Review Committee. Mr. Harris stated that the staff has also been directed by City Council to make this review and it is being done as time allows. Commissioner Doherty spoke to two bills being considered by the State at this time, Assembly Bill No. 3, Ross, and Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 1, Ross. He stated these items address housing and the City Attorney, et al should be aware of these bills. Chairperson Wilson then asked if anyone in the audience was here to address case RZ-80-15 and reiterated that this matter is being continued. Commissioner Lindsey stated he would abstain from case UP-80-35, Marcia Myers inasmuch as he is acting as lender with regard to this matter and there might be a conflict of interest.
