MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />Alameda County Fairgrounds - Cafeteria <br />Wednesday, January 14, 1981 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairperson DeWitt Wilson. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: <br />Commissioners Absent: <br />Council Members Present: <br />Staff Members Present: <br />Gregg Doherty, Joyce Getty, Bill Jamieson, <br />Larry Lindsey, and Chairperson DeWitt Wilson <br />None <br />None <br />Robert L. Warnick, Director of Public Works <br />and Utilities; Robert J. Harris, Director <br />of Planning and Community Development; and <br />Shirley McDougall, Recording Secretary <br />Pledge of Allegiance <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The minutes of the 12/10/80 meeting were approved as submitted. <br />MEETING OPEN FOR MEMBERS OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE COMMISSION <br />No one addressed the Commission. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Harris stated that the property owner has requested Item 6a, <br />RZ-80-15 be continued until 2/11/81. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION <br />Commissioner Getty asked about the BART study as previously requested <br />by the General Plan Land Use Review Committee. Mr. Harris stated that <br />the staff has also been directed by City Council to make this review <br />and it is being done as time allows. <br />Commissioner Doherty spoke to two bills being considered by the State <br />at this time, Assembly Bill No. 3, Ross, and Constitutional Amendment <br />Bill No. 1, Ross. He stated these items address housing and the City <br />Attorney, et al should be aware of these bills. <br />Chairperson Wilson then asked if anyone in the audience was here to <br />address case RZ-80-15 and reiterated that this matter is being continued. <br />Commissioner Lindsey stated he would abstain from case UP-80-35, Marcia <br />Myers inasmuch as he is acting as lender with regard to this matter <br />and there might be a conflict of interest. <br /> <br />
