Mr. Harris <br />told Mr. Harrison this condition is a requirement of the Police <br />Department and he (Mr. Harrison) should discuss this matter with them; <br />regarding No. 9 and the requirement of an aerial photograph, Mr. Harrison <br />asked if this was mandatory and the Commission told him it is inasmuch <br />as the purchasers of the home have a right to know the surrounding land <br />use and many times are led astray as to future development of surround- <br />ing areas; concerning No. 12 with regard to street trees, Mr. Harrison <br />suggested that the landscaping provided for the models should be more <br />than sufficient. Mr. Warnick stated that the growth of trees during <br />the life of the models is very important. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Jamieson, seconded by Chairperson <br />Wilson that the negative declaration prepared for case UP-81-4 be <br />approved as this project would not have any significant effect on <br />the environment. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, <br />Chairperson Wilson <br />Noes: None <br />Getty, Jamieson, Lindsey and <br />Resolution No. 1966 was then entered and adopted approving the negative <br />declaration for case UP-81-4. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Jamieson, seconded by Commissioner <br />Lindsey that case UP-81-4 be approved subject to the conditions of the <br />staff report because all of the findings as listed thereon can be made. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, <br />Chairperson Wilson <br />Noes: None <br />Getty, Jamieson, Lindsey and <br />Resolution No. 1967 was then entered and adopted approving case UP-81-4 <br />per the staff report. <br />Tract 4385, MacKay Homes, Inc. <br />Application of MacKay Homes, Inc. for approval of a 25-lot tentative <br />map for Tract 4385. The 7.4 acre site is located at the intersection <br />of Valley Avenue and Hansen Drive. Zoning for the property is R-1-6500 <br />(Single-Family Residential) District. A mitigated negative declaration <br />of environmental impacts was also considered. <br />Mr. Harris presented the staff report. <br />Mr. Warnick stated he would like to amend his report from Engineering <br />Services as follows: <br />Replace Condition No. 4 with: That the cross section of Valley Avenue <br />be designed and constructed by the devel- <br />oper as follows: <br />-9- <br />__ .~.__._....__..,_.__..__° ___ __ __._. _ _. _,. .. r <br />
