Tract 4539, Centex Homes Application of Centex Homes for an eighteen month extension for their approved Tentative Tract Map 4539. The project consists of a 79-lot residential subdivision to be located on a 32.4 acre site between Pleasanton School upper playfield and Mirador Drive immediately south of the residences bordering Angela Street. Mr. Harris explained the applicant's request. The public hearing was opened. Ron Brent, Centex Homes, was present. He stated he concurs with the staff recommendation of a one-year extension. He stated he was under the impression an 18-month extension was appropriate. Mr. Harris stated that City ordinance only allows one year extensions even though the Map Act allows 18 months. The public hearing was closed. Commissioner Doherty asked Mr. Brent to bring the Commission up to date with the progress of this project. Mr. Brent complied. A motion was made by Commissioner Doherty, seconded by Commissioner Lindsey that approval of Tract 4539, Centex, be extended for one year in accordance with the recommendation of staff. REFERRALS FROM THE PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION AND/OR HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION Commissioner Doherty stated the Human Services Commission is concerned about a condominium conversion ordinance. He also stated that he re- placed Ken Leppert on this Commission and asked the Commissioners if anyone would like to replace him at the current time. Commissioner Lindsey said he would be happy to share this responsibility with Commissioner Doherty. MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S INFORMATION There were none.
