Tract 4539, Centex Homes <br />Application of Centex Homes for an eighteen month extension for their <br />approved Tentative Tract Map 4539. The project consists of a 79-lot <br />residential subdivision to be located on a 32.4 acre site between <br />Pleasanton School upper playfield and Mirador Drive immediately south <br />of the residences bordering Angela Street. <br />Mr. Harris explained the applicant's request. <br />The public hearing was opened. <br />Ron Brent, Centex Homes, was present. He stated he concurs with the <br />staff recommendation of a one-year extension. He stated he was under <br />the impression an 18-month extension was appropriate. Mr. Harris <br />stated that City ordinance only allows one year extensions even though <br />the Map Act allows 18 months. <br />The public hearing was closed. <br />Commissioner Doherty asked Mr. Brent to bring the Commission up to date <br />with the progress of this project. Mr. Brent complied. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Doherty, seconded by Commissioner <br />Lindsey that approval of Tract 4539, Centex, be extended for one year <br />in accordance with the recommendation of staff. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Commissioners <br />None <br />Doherty, Getty, Jamieson and Lindsey <br />Chairperson Wilson <br />None <br />Resolution No. 1972 was then entered and adopted approving the extension <br />for case Tract 4539. <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br />There were none. <br />REFERRALS FROM ALAMEDA COUNTY <br />There were none. <br />REFERRALS FROM THE PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION AND/OR HUMAN SERVICES <br />COMMISSION <br />Commissioner Doherty stated the Human Services Commission is concerned <br />about a condominium conversion ordinance. He also stated that he re- <br />placed Ken Leppert on this Commission and asked the Commissioners if <br />anyone would like to replace him at the current time. Commissioner <br />Lindsey said he would be happy to share this responsibility with <br />Commissioner Doherty. <br />MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S INFORMATION <br />There were none. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business, Commissioner Getty adjourned the <br />meeting at 12:30 .M. <br />Robert J.
