MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Alameda County Fairgrounds - Cafeteria <br />Pleasanton Avenue <br />Wednesday, March 11, 1981 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Chairperson Wilson. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Commissioners Present: Doherty, Getty, Jamieson, Lindsey and <br />Chairperson DeWitt Wilson <br />Commissioners Absent: None <br />Council Members Present: Kephart, Mohr and Mayor Mercer <br />Staff Members Present: Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning <br />and Community Development; Robert L. Warnick, <br />Director of Public Works and Utilities; <br />Harvey Levine, City Attorney; and Shirley <br />McDougall, Recording Secretary <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The minutes of the 2/17/81 Planning Commission meeting were approved <br />as submitted. <br />MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE PLANNING <br />COMMISSION <br />No one addressed the Commission. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Harris stated that Farmers Insurance Group, the applicant for case <br />PUD-81-2, Item 5b be continued until April as they are redesigning <br />their building. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY THE COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />There were none. <br />OLD BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />PUD-80-16, Meyer Properties, Inc. <br />Application of Meyer Properties, Inc. for planned unit development <br />(Industrial and Commercial) zoning and development plan approval for <br />an approximately 82 acre site located at the northwest corner of <br />Hopyard Road and Stoneridge Drive. The tentative proposal for land <br />uses for the subject area indicates approximately 36 acres of indus- <br />trial development, 24 acres of office development and 11 acres of <br />commercial development to be served by 11 acres of dedicated streets. <br />As part of the office land use, one building 14 stories in height and <br />two buildings 8 stories in height are proposed. The property is <br />currently zoned Planned Unit Development (General Industrial) District. <br />The Planning Commission may recommend approval of the rezoning and <br />development plan as proposed or may modify the proposal in any manner <br />consistent with the General Plan.
