MINUTES PLANNING COMMISSION Alameda County Fairgrounds - Cafeteria Pleasanton Avenue Wednesday, April 8, 1981 8:00 P.M. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by Chairperson DeWitt Wilson. ROLL CALL Commissioners Present: Doherty, Getty, Jamieson, Lindsey and Chairperson DeWitt Wilson Council Members Present: Karin Mohr Staff Members Present: Robert J. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development; Robert L. Warnick, Director of Public Works and Utilities; Brian Swift, Assistant City Attorney; and Shirley McDougall, Recording Secretary The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was recited. APPROVAL OF MINUTES The minutes of the March 11, 1981 meeting were approved as submitted. The minutes of the March 18, 1981 meeting were approved with the following changes: Page 5, 6th paragraph After findings, insert "grant of special privilege" Page 7, 1st paragraph In the last sentence, "City Manager" to replace "City Council" MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE COMMISSION No one ad ressed the Commission. MATTERS INITIATED BY THE COMMISSION MEMBERS Commissioner Getty - On 2 81 the City s traffic committee met with local merchants, developers and Chamber of Commerce regarding downtown parking. She said that the Pleasanton Downtown Association will host a breakfast, 4/24/81, 8:00 A.M., Haps for $3.00 concerning this topic. RSVPs can be made through her.
