Items 21 and 22 <br />No one a ressed these items. <br />The public hearing was closed at 10:55pm. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Doherty, seconded by Commissioner <br />Lindsey that the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton certifies <br />that the Environmental Impact Report for the project GP-80-8 has been <br />completed in compliance with the provisions of the California Environ- <br />mental Quality Act, that the Commission certifies that it has reviewed <br />and considered the information in the EIR, that the Commission finds <br />that there are potentially significant impacts associated with this <br />project as outlined in the attached document titled "Proposed Environ- <br />mental Impact Findings" relating to demographics, land use, traffic, <br />transportation, noise, and public facilities; but that the Commission <br />further finds that the recommended conditions of approval or recommended <br />future actions by the City, as listed in the accompanying Staff Report <br />as Conditions #1-6, would reduce those impacts to an insignificant <br />level. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey and Vice Chairperson <br />Getty <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Chairperson Wilson <br />Resolution No. 1984 was then entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of the EIR prepared for case GP-80-8. <br />The Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton votes as follows <br />on the items recommended by the General Plan Land Use and Circulation <br />Element Review Committee: <br />1. Change the northernmost 20 acres of the 88 acre parcel <br />located between the Stoneridge Shopping Center and I-680 <br />from "High Density Residential" to "Commercial and Offices." <br />3. Change the K-6 school site shown in the 88 acre parcel to <br />"High Density Residential." <br />The Planning Commission concurred that the northernmost 20 acres <br />of the property should be commercial and offices but felt additional <br />property should also be commercial and offices. <br />The Commission concurred the K-6 school site should be deleted from <br />the General Plan. <br />Recommend approval of Items 1 and 3 above. <br />-10- <br />_ ... _.__._.._ _..~..,_.._._.. __... __.._ __ _ _._ __ ___r_, _._...., _. <br />
