Commissioner Lindsey addressed the vanpool condition. Mr. Geingrich <br />stated that in principle everyone is in agreement, he just doesn't <br />want to have to guarantee use of the vanpools. Commissioner Lindsey <br />stated he is satisfied with the design of the building. <br />Mr. Harris stated that the maximum cut would be about 5 ft. Chairperson <br />Wilson stated that Condition No. 11 addresses excavating the hill. Mr. <br />Harris pointed out that this condition is to ensure excavation will <br />not take place on the toe of the slope of the ridge adjacent to <br />the building on the southwest. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner <br />Lindsey, that the Mitigated Negative Declaration prepared for case <br />PUD-81-2 be recommended for approval inasmuch as Conditions No. 48 <br />through No. 57 of Resolution 1999 which are imposed on this project <br />would reduce any adverse environmental impacts to insignificant. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Getty, Lindsey and Chairperson Wilson <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Commissioners Doherty and Jamieson <br />Resolution No. 1998 was then entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of the mitigated negative declaration prepared for case PUD-81-2. <br />A motion was then made by Commissioner Getty, seconded by Commissioner <br />Lindsey that case PUD-81-2, be recommended for approval subject to <br />the conditions shown in the staff report of 5/20/81 amending Conditions <br />No. 37 and No. 52 as follows: <br />"If the house on the east side of Dublin Canyon Road across from <br />the subject property remains occupied during the construction <br />of the subject property and the reconstruction of Dublin Canyon <br />Road, the road widening necessary in this area shall take place <br />entirely on the Farmers Insurance property because of the <br />present minimal setback of the house from the road unless <br />otherwise approved by the City Engineer." <br />"That there shall be no occupancy of the building until the <br />City's elevated stream apparatus is in operation unless <br />otherwise approved by the Fire Chief." <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Getty, Lindsey and Chairperson Wilson <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: Commissioners Doherty and Jamieson <br />Resolution No. 1999 was then entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of case PUD-81-2, Farmers Insurance Group. <br />NEW BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />PUD(HPD)-80-12, Castlewood Properties, Inc. <br />Application of Castlewood Properties, Inc. for development plan approval <br />for a Hillside Planned Development for the approximately 48 acre site <br />-4- <br />._. .. ... .... .-. ........ ... .. ... .... _._._ ..._ _... .. . ..... ... ..~.,. ... ... _.... _....._. ......
