MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />Civic Center Conference Room <br />200 Bernal Avenue <br />Pleasanton, California <br />Wednesday, June 17, 1981 <br />4:OOpm <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 4:OOpm by Chairperson Joyce Getty. <br />R(1T.T. Harris, Director of Planning and <br />Community Development; Harvey E. Levine, <br />City Attorney and Shirley McDougall, <br />Recording Secretary <br />There were no Minutes submitted for approval. <br />REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mr. Harris stated that Item 5a, PUD-81-7, Foothill Knolls, should be <br />continued to the Planning Commission meeting of July 15, 1981 to allow <br />more time for the staff and developer to work together. Commissioner <br />Wilson asked the size of the proposed lots on this project. Mr. Harris <br />stated nothing has been determined at this time. <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY THE COMMISSION MEMBERS <br />Chairperson Getty stated that she is now a member of the Conference <br />Planning Committee for the League of California Cities and that their <br />next conference will be in San Francisco in October. She said the <br />organization is starting from scratch in working on their seminars and <br />workshops and that she would be happy to have any thoughts on the matter. <br />She said she will be working with Nick Bevilaqua et al regarding the <br />planning and public works departments. Attention will be given to lonq_-term <br />maintenance working toward coordinating general plans and capital <br />improvement programs, revitalization, solar energy, etc. <br />OLD BUSINESS - Public Hearings <br />PUD-81-7, Foothill Knolls <br />Application of Foothill Knolls for development plan approval for an <br />85 lot low density residential planned unit development proposed for the <br />43 acre site located on the east side of Foothill Road approximately 830 <br />feet south of the City limit line. The property is zoned PUD-Low Density <br />Residential District. A negative declaration of environmental impacts <br />will also be considered. <br />-1- <br />
