The public hearing was closed. <br />Commissioner Wilson wanted to clarify that this was only an <br />application to amend the circulation element. <br />Commissioner Lindsey indicated his support of this condition <br />requiring a sound wall on Hopyard Road and any effort to save <br />the trees. <br />Commissioner Jamieson discussed the problem of increased truck <br />traffic on Hopyard and indicated they would have to be allowed <br />into the commercial/industrial area but would be restricted <br />beyond the Prudential property. <br />Commissioner Doherty made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Wilson, <br />that GP-81-4 would have no significant adverse environmental impacts <br />and, therefore, the negative declaration prepared for this case be <br />adopted. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey, Wilson and <br />Chairperson Getty <br />Noes: None <br />Resolution No. 2029 was adopted recommending approval of the negative <br />declaration for Case GP-81-4. <br />Commissioner Wilson, seconded by Commissioner Lindsey, moved that <br />the application GP-81-4 be approved subject to conditions including <br />sound barriers and that the trees be removed be replanted or <br />replaced in like size. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />Ayes: Commissioners Doherty, Jamieson, Lindsey, Wilson and <br />Chairperson Getty <br />Noes: None <br />Resolution No. 2030 was entered and adopted recommending approval <br />of Case GP-81-4 <br />PUD-81-13, Rheem Investment <br />Application o Rheem Investment Group for Planned Unit Development <br />approval for a 10-lot industrial park subdivision on approximately <br />11 acres of land located on the east side of tracks of the Southern <br />Pacific Transportation Company between Santa Rita Road and Mohr <br />Avenue to allow specified uses and modified site development standards. <br />Zoning for the property is I-P (Industrial Park) District. The <br />Planning Commission may recommend any zoning district consistent with <br />the General Plan. A negative declaration of environmental impacts <br />may also be considered. <br />-14- <br />
